Frequently asked questions

Questions about selling a room-rental property

Can I sell my room-rental property with tenants in it?

Yes. We specifically buy let properties. Existing leases transfer to us on sale (under Dutch law a sale does not end a lease). Your tenants will hardly notice the transfer.

How quickly can the sale be completed?

That depends on the property and the documents. After a viewing and the required paperwork we usually give an indication quickly. You choose the completion date at the notary.

What information do you need for an offer?

The address, the number of rooms or units, the floor plans, a rent roll with rents and the permit situation (for example a conversion permit). Don't have everything to hand? We'll figure it out together.

Do you buy properties with overdue maintenance?

Yes. Maintenance, an outdated energy label or a complicated permit situation are no reason for us to walk away. We factor it into our offer.

Who pays the buyer's costs?

We agree on notary fees and transfer tax in advance and put it in writing, so you know exactly where you stand.

Does the sale stay confidential?

Yes. We handle your information discreetly and do not talk to tenants or neighbours until you give permission.
